Setting up Appropriate Equipment

Since all we were just recording audio not much was needed to be done about setting up equipment except for a tripod so the microphone could be kept at a good level near the people speaking. We also place seats around said microphone. The microphone was checked if a) had enough power and b)  if it was capable of recording.

Following Running Order and Content Plan

We followed the script which was based on the running order and content plan we more or less stuck the script exactly as it says as we read through the script while recording.

Following Safe Working Practices

With all productions their is a contingency. This keeps productions safe and consistent. It is a good practise to have guidelines and a contingency for the safety of listeners and the production team. This is why I have pointed out all possible hazards in a studio environment. A risk assessment if you will.

Following Production Processes

We followed our production process relatively well. This enabled us to manage our time efficiently. It helped us move from one task to the next. Our schedule also enabled us to catch up on some of our paper work at the end if we didn't get it done the first time. Our graph was planned out day to day which let us know when it was time to move on to the next task and so on.
